By strengthening women’s voice and agency, DCRE lays the foundation for resilient communities and sustainable development across fragile contexts.
Strengthen Women’s Leadership
This component equips young women graduates with advanced leadership, communication, digital, and professional skills to prepare them for roles in public service, civil society, academia, and the private sector. The program expands women’s meaningful participation in decision-making and contributes to long-term social and economic resilience through inclusive leadership pathways.
Aligned with SDG 5 (Gender Equality), the initiative promotes women’s leadership, agency, and equal participation at all levels of decision-making. By strengthening professional, digital, and civic competencies, it also contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) through lifelong learning opportunities and to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by enhancing employability and leadership readiness. Implementation will include thematic and technical trainings, ongoing coaching and mentorship, online and in-person leadership forums, and structured exposure to national, regional, and international best practices.
